How long have you been in business for?
Al Poullis started COMMbits in 2002 with the mission to fill-in the apparent gap in the market where Small-To-Medium businesses were neglected. With his professional team of web designers and IT Specialists Al opted to change that. Al has been professionally involved with the Internet and web building since 1996.
Who would be your ideal client?
We have clients from 1-man small hospitality businesses in Niagara-on-the-Lake to large Insurance Firms with hundreds of employees, and everything else in-between! We are looking for clients anywhere in the world who wish to improve their on-line presence, or clients in the GTA who require on-site IT services. We are also a great outsourcing partner for in-house departments of large Corporate clients. It’s cheaper and more quick/efficient for them to come to us rather than go to their own internal IT Department.
How can you offer such large number of services with such small staff?
We are strict on processes & procedures, which makes us really efficient and effective. Also, there are many people behind the scenes working for you and supporting our solutions. For example, our partnering Premier Data Center is manned 24/7 with highly qualified technicians that ensure the smooth operations of all systems. Lastly, there are tremendous economies of scale associated with the notion of “1-stop shopping”. The more features and functions our clients blend-in their solutions, the higher our productivity becomes.

We are located in the Greater Toronto Area. In order to increase our efficiency and lower our overheads and your cost we are utilizing the latest virtual office methodologies. You are most welcomed to come visit our lab in Oakville. Which areas do you cover for on-site IT Support?
Our on-site Network and IT support services are available only to clients in the Greater Toronto Area, including Markham, Richmond Hill, Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington, North York, Brampton and Scarborough.
