In an effort to satisfy one of the main business objectives behind this project - "self-manage content", the Butler Mortgage Team comprehensive new web site, with heavy requirements on dynamic content, includes components that allow website owners to add new content quickly and efficiently. For example, the COMMbits News Manager allows people to add news, press releases, articles and other content on their sites, using a back-office module to enter just a subject, a short story and a long story. The system automatically "wraps" the new post around the site's existing layout for consistency and updates its archives tables which are automatically sorted by month.
The database-driven Frequently Asked Questions module is also a great way to provide content in the popular format of questions and answers, which web site visitors seem to visit indeed "frequently.
The site is powered by the COMMbits DOME Web Site Content Management system, a system that comes by default and available only when hosting within the COMMbits Business Web Hosting infrastructure.
For this project COMMbits has also provided custom integration services, whereby a 3rd party Mortgage calculator was seamlessly integrated with the rest of the site.
