Full Story:
Short web site for the sole purpose of showcasing the National Insurance Conference of Canada (NICC), Canada's pre-eminent insurance conference for senior executives of the property & casualty industry. The annual NICC for this year will be held in Montreal from September 30th to October 2nd, 2007.
The web site includes the Conference business program and a pre-conference brochure, plus a downloadable registration package.
Also included is the COMMbits custom, database-driven "Profiles" component, which allows web site owners to create web site pages of similar content using a web site content management back-office application. In the NICC case, the web site owners used the component to create independent pages for the Conference's speakers, linked from the Conference Business Program. For other implementations of the same component please see this page as well as the COMMbits Team Members page on our site.
The NICC web site is bilingual (English and French) and COMMbits has developed a custom technology that utilizes web browser cookies and other server-based technologies to "remember" a web site visitor's language selection in-between visits to the site. Content for both languages is powered by the COMMbits DOME Web Site Content Management System, which allows web site owners to maintain the content on their sites in an "anytime-anywhere" fashion, using only a web-browser, with no technical knowledge required.
This is the second project Joel Baker, the President & CEO of the NICC, successfully launched with COMMbits. The first project was with MSA Research Inc.
The new NICC web site is at niccanada.com.
We have chosen COMMbits and never looked back! We made the move to COMMbits in the summer of 2006 with our main site www.msaresearch.com and we have not looked back. The COMMbits team made the transition painless, they attended to detail and consistently demonstrated excellent service and responsiveness.
We have since launched another site www.niccanada.com and again COMMbits' service was impeccable.
We would strongly recommend COMMbits to any SME.
Sincerely, Joel Baker, President and CEO MSA Research Inc. and the National Insurance Conference of Canada.
