The Toronto-based Small-Business owner behind "What A Jewel" is a distributor of a selection of fine jewelry. The selection includes bracelets, brooches, pendants, earrings and necklaces.
Due to the small product weight - and consequently relatively low shipping costs - the merchant is able to target multiple markets in Canada, the US, the United Kingdom and around the world. Therefore, a comprehensive e-commerce site that showcases an easy-to-use Shopping Cart mechanism and a secure on-line payment authorization method was from the beginning at the top of the project's requirements.

It also provides a comprehensive fulfillment process that follows a sale in addition to facilitating the post-sales communication between merchant and customer through a powerful back-office Control Panel.
For this project COMMbits has also integrated its supported Canadian-based Payment Processing Gateway, already approved by major Canadian Financial Institutions and Merchant issuers, which provides for a fully-branded e-commerce solution that performs direct deposits to the Merchant's preferred Canadian Bank account, a function integral to the fully automated sales cycle.
