 Family caregivers assist loved ones with physical or mental disabilities, or chronic illnesses by looking after all their needs, including physical, mental, psychological and social.
In Canada, the number of Family caregivers has reached 4.5 million and the number is growing. The Family Caregiver Connection Program (FCC) is a collaborative approach to family caregiver support services for caregivers.
The Central Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) "Aging at Home" initiative funds the program, which begun in July 2008. The initiative supports seniors who wish to remain independent in their own homes.
Early-on the Organization realized it required a simple, yet effective web presence, to serve as an electronic brochure to the Organization’s scope, various services and Partner Agencies, streamline news make brochures readily available.
