Full Story:

Miss Scarlett is a 52 foot wooden-hulled motor yacht that was originally built in the year 1929 by the Gidley Boat Company of Penetanguishene, Ontario, Canada. She was manufactured during the glory days of wooden boat building when yachts of Miss Scarlett's stature were unique, customized productions made exclusively to order for the wealthy and famous. No two boats were exactly alike, and the quality of the woods, materials and the craftsmanship invested in building Miss Scarlett was of a caliber unheard of today.

The current owner of the yacht has turned to the Internet and to COMMbits in order to create a showcase piece to the standards of this magnificent example of "living" history.

The end-result is a rich multimedia, easy-to-navigate web-based electronic showcase, which includes photographs, text and an audiovisual introduction.

For the introduction, COMMbits has utilized state-of-the-art Flash technology, which enables the simultaneous use of video and audio and has created an animated parade of photographs to quickly tell the story of what *Miss Scarlett* is about.

The site also utilizes an exclusive COMMbits technology, which allows the generation of custom photo galleries with automated pop-up windows for larger-size versions of the photos.

COMMbits has also provided professional copy-authoring services.

We wish the current owner good luck in the selling effort.

*Miss Scarlett* is at www.1929gidleyyacht.com.
