Full Story:
Susan Wheeler - an author and educator of bullying and disability - is the recipient of numerous awards of distinction in recognition of her many contributions and achievements, including the Women of Distinction Award in 2000 and the Women-on-the-Move Award, in 1995.
A patient of Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) disease herself, Susan is the Executive Director of the Hereditary Neuropathy Foundation of New York, an Organization with a goal to find treatments and cure for CMT and related neuropathies.
Her latest work, "Aunt Scarlett's Farm", is a children's book about bullying and the adventures of a child with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease.
The web site shines for its simplicity and for its clear messages, and utilizes two of the COMMbits state-of-the-art COMMbits technologies: An image randomizer and a text randomizer.
The image randomizer is responsible for displaying on each page random illustrations from the book. The text randomizer automatically pulls quotes from famous people from a COMMbits-hosted database. The web site owner is able to choose images and text to participate in the randomizers using powerful yet easy to use back-office administration control panels.
Both components automatically provide always-changing content on each page, ensuring that the pages remain fresh and interesting on each subsequent page-visit.
The site also uses the COMMbits Web Site Content Management System, now standard on all web sites powered by the COMMbits business web hosting environment, and allows the web site owner to freely change the content on any page.
Susan's new web site can be found at www.susanwheeleronline.com.
