 After completing her doctoral degree in Human Development and Applied Psychology at the University of Toronto, Cathy Dodge Smith, Ed. D., Director of Dyslexia Correction Associates of Oakville, established a private practice in Oakville, Ontario, as a psychoeducational therapist to help clients with learning disabilities.
Cathy is a recipient of the Canada Volunteer Award Certificate of Honour and the Canada 125 Award. She is a former president of the Learning Disabilities Association of Canada, and author of several published books and articles about learning disabilities.
Cathy's previous web site had outgrown itself and it became cluttered and confusing to the visitor in addition to being quite difficult to maintain. Also, it was nowhere to be found in popular Search Engines.
