When Nustef Ltd. of Mississauga Ontario, manufacturers of the famous Pizzelle Italian cookies, decided to change the look of their product labels, they requested a new version of their COMMbits-developed website to match.

The original website was designed back in 2007 and included a static, brochure-ware section alongside with an online shopping experience, where customers could shop for cookies online.

The new design furnishes a fresh, uncluttered “look”, with clean lines and a distinct direction towards marketing new products and directing people to the Firm’s online shop. We have also included the popular slider system, responsible for the changing top banner, as well as a News Management System.

Admittedly, the biggest challenge was the incorporation of the old eStore system into the new WordPress framework, which runs the new website. The end result is the integration of two dissimilar technologies in a seamless fashion for the ultimate user experience.
