Here is a brief description of how our secure e-Commerce Payment Processing Gateway works:

From the point of purchase on your e-Commerce website, the customer is automatically transferred to the Beanstream Payment Processing secure server and enter their credit card number information. The e-Commerce Payment Processing Gateway validates the transaction and automatically sends it to the banking system for payment. Both you – the merchant – and the customer receive an e-mail copy of the payment receipt. The customer is then returned to your eCommerce web store and your order fulfillment system is properly updated with all payment transaction details.

When customers select “checkout” they are directed to the Payment Processor’s secure order form to complete their purchase.
The order is sent to the bank for credit approval.
Transaction results are returned back to the Payment Processor’s server.
The customer is returned to the merchant server (your e-commerce website) and notified of the transaction results.

The payment processing gateway monthly fee includes a Gateway Control Panel which other than extensive reporting it also provides a web-based interface (electronic POS – Point-Of-Sale) to manually enter and process transactions.

Can I void or issue returns on any credit card transactions? Yes, that’s another capability of the Gateway Control Panel system that comes with your Payment Processing a/c monthly fee.

Do need to purchase an SSL certificate? No. Using our methodology all payments are captured with SSL security provided by Beanstream.

Can the payment page be re-branded to resemble the look ‘n feel of my website? Absolutely! In fact, this is one big advantage of our solution compared to other solutions which do not offer tight integration and branding alongside your existing website brand.
